Five killed in Pak blast
2010-03-10 [12:18:37 hrs] | | At least five people including a woman have been killed and several others injured in a bomb explosion at a non-governmental organisation’s (NGO's) building in Mansehra on Wednesday.
According to reports, the bomb exploded inside the building of Vision World NGO killing a woman and four others.
Police sources revealed that the gunmen who attacked the international relief organisation's office in the Mansehra district which is 65 km, north of Islamabad, are yet to be identified.
The gunmen reportedly carried grenades, and local media reported explosions had occurred at the site on Wednesday.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai is on a two-day visit to Pakistan and the latest assault by the militants seems an attempt to draw focus away from him to gain publicity for their cause.
