Maoist possessions recovered from Shalboni; 1 arrested
2010-02-08 [15:41:09 hrs] | | | Joint forces have arrested one Maoist suspect, Prashanto Mahato from the jungles of Shalboni while conducting a raid across the West Midnapore district. The jawans raided Shalboni, Kotoali police station and Lalgarh in search of Maoist trails. In Shalboni jungle, they recovered a tent, some Maoist literature and a machine used to manufacture weapons. The tent is believed to have been used by elusive Maoist leader Kishenji. |
