Three murders in S 24 Pargannas

Three separate cases of murder were reported from various places in South 24 Pargannas. In the first case, a CPM worker Saifuddin Sheikh was found murdered in Joynagar. His body was recovered from a local brickyard bearing several bullet injuries.

Meanwhile, one student- Mithun Shikari’s body was found in the South Barasat area of the district. It is suspected that Shikari was likely killed over a love triangle. Police investigations are underway.

Also, the body of a security guard working in a factory in Sonarpur was found from inside the factory this morning. Further details about the incident are awaited.
